About ASafarIM Digital
ASafarIM Digital is a software studio built on a research background: data-first engineering, full-stack ownership, and no hand-offs.
From river models to web platforms
The studio's roots are in numerical modeling and engineering hydrology — PhD-level research at VUB Brussels on river systems, followed by applied software engineering. That background still shapes how systems here are built: measure first, model carefully, then ship.
Production experience
Years of full-stack scientific application development across .NET + React platforms, IoT dashboards, and internal tools — and since then, a steadily growing ecosystem of self-built products on the ASafarIM Platform.
Built in the open
The platform this site runs on is itself a public project: a monorepo where the identity system, design tokens, and deployment pipeline are on display. Eight open-source npm packages under @asafarim have come out of it.

The craft
- TypeScript and React on the front, Node.js on the back
- PostgreSQL as the source of truth, Prisma on top
- One shared authentication and role system across every app
- Docker, Caddy/nginx, and calm VPS operations
- AI where it genuinely removes work, not where it demos well
